I recently wrote some aggregate functions for SQL Server 2005 and 2008 in VB.Net. The reason for this is that I have often seen the need for a prediction analysis.
With my SQLCLR application, you can for example analyze your free storage space over time and predict when storage space is empty, or when storage space falls below a certain amount. See to the right for download links.
